If Anemone Geyser is drained when you walk up, wait a few minutes to watch the stages of a typical eruption. The pool fills, overflows, and large bubbles rise to the surface. Suddenly, Anemone erupts 10 feet (3 m) or more. The water then drains back into the vent with a gurgling sound. The cycle is repeated usually every 7-15 minutes.
