Yellowstone National Park Geothermal Regions

The long-term goal of the YNP RCN Geothermal Database is to bring together data on geochemistry and biology of geothermal features in YNP. In collaboration with the YNP Spatial Analysis Center, the expanding YNP RCN Geothermal Database contains geothermal features characterized in the YNP Thermal Inventory Project as well as additional datasets contributed by the USGS and/or individual RCN participants.
